what may bring you to therapy
Therapy can be a place to look at what has been happening with more context, curiosity and room for new choices.
Fear of abandonment, difficulty setting boundaries, recurring relationship patterns and expectations about love and partnership.
Grief after a relationship, the end of shared plans and rebuilding a life that can continue even while difficult emotions are present.
Fear, guilt, anxiety, high expectations of yourself and the feeling that you need to control what you feel before you can move forward.
how I approach therapy
The way we relate to ourselves and others is shaped by personal history, relationships and also by cultural learning about gender, love, care, strength and who we are expected to be.
how it works
Video sessions through Google Meet.
Individual sessions of approximately 50 minutes.
Sessions can take place in either language.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy with attention to history, relationships and cultural context.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
ACT focuses on psychological flexibility: noticing thoughts and emotions with greater awareness, changing how you relate to them and building actions that are more aligned with what matters to you.
